About The Mission
Dear Friend,
HOPEWALLAH, INC. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011 by the Babbili family to care for people with leprosy. Hopewallah means "one who provides hope," which is much needed for these hundreds of hopeless, neglected, "untouchable" men, women, and children isolated in Moulali and Parvathnagar leper colonies. Through your generous donations, we can continue the following much needed help:
- Medical supplies and treatment
- Nutritional, educational, social, and spiritual support
- Food assistance for people who are unable to cook or feed themselves due to amputation or deformities in their hands
- Educational scholarships for children of families affected by leprosy, along with school supplies and education support
